ACPO Working Group on Armed Policing
West Mercia Police hosts the secretariat serving the Association of Chief Police Officers' Working Group on Armed Policing, with the lead being Assistant Chief Constable Simon Chesterman.
Responsibilities include the maintenance of the ACPO Manual of Guidance on the Management, Command and Deployment of Armed Officers and the National Police Firearms Training Curriculum.
