Force Structure

West Mercia Police is organised into five divisions which cover the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire.

Our divisons are:

  • Herefordshire
  • North Worcestershire
  • Shropshire
  • South Worcestershire
  • Telford & Wrekin

As of March 2010, the force employs 2367 police officers, 283 community support officers, 1779 police staff and 224 members of the Special Constabulary.
