Guidance on supporting young people

It is very rare for school children to become involved in criminal extremist activity but young people can be exposed to extremism or prejudiced views. This can be from the internet from an early age.

Guidance from the Department for Education offers practical advice on supporting pupils who may be vulnerable to violent extremism.

It was produced following discussions with young people, teachers, local authorities, police and community representatives across the country.
