FOI 3324 Costs Of Personalised Vehicle Registration Plates

I write in connection with your request for information which was received on 3rd October 2011. Please find below the response to your request:

• 1. The amount spent on personalised registration plates in financial years: 2006-07; 2007-08; 2008-09; 2009-10; 2010-11 and 2011-12 to date.
• 2. For each of the financial years in question 1, please detail

a) the cost,

b) the plate number and

c) the purpose of each plate

Reply:

No money has been spent on purchasing personalised number plates in the time period stated. West Mercia Police only owns one personalised number plate and this was obtained before 2006. However the plate was put on retention then allocated to a vehicle in 2009, and put on retention again in 2011. The retention administration fee in both cases was £105.00.
