Priorities

Your local policing team works with partner organisations to address local issues. These are identified through a process called PACT (Partners and Communities Together) which enables you to tell us about the issues that are causing concern in your neighbourhood and which ones you want us to deal with as a priority. Once the community agrees on the top priorities, we'll work together to address them.

The current priorities for this area are:

  • Priority: PACT Meeting. VEHICLE RELATED - SPEEDING TRAFFIC - Speeding vehicles A49 Much Birch, junction with Tump Lane. (13/05/2010)
  • Action: Speed enforcement and monitoring by local policing team and traffic units. Update:-Monday 28th June speed monitoring carried out by CSO Powell between 3-15pm and 4pm. PM 18th July 2010, 5 endorsable fixed penalty notices issued for excess speed (£60 and 3 points on licence). Between 05-00am and 06-00am 20th July 2010 1endorsable fixed penalty notice issued for excess speed and 5 persons warned. Speed enforcement carried out between 8-15am and 9-00am 23/7/2010. No offences seen. Between 15:00 and 15:40 04/08/2010 Speed monitoring carried out by CSO Powell.
  • Priority: PACT Meeting. VEHICLE RELATED - SPEEDING TRAFFIC - Excess speed and parking issues around the Waldorf School, Much Dewchurch. (13/05/2010)
  • Action: Speed enforcement and monitoring by local policing team. Education of persons parking near to school entrance with a view to preventing dangerous and inconsiderate parking. Update:-Speed enforcement carried out afternoon 26/05/2010. Maximum speed recorded in 30mph limit was 32mph. No tickets issued. Parking around Steiner Academy (Waldorf School) monitored, no dangerous parking seen. Between 14:20 and 15:00 04/08/2010. Speed Monitoring carried out by CSO Powell.
