Introduction
The North Worcestershire Territorial Policing Unit is split into three districts – Wyre Forest, Redditch and Bromsgrove – and serves a population of 269,300 with 110,390 households. This is a diverse geographical and multi-cultural area with many new and emerging communities. We have three larger principal police stations, at Bromsgrove, Redditch and Kidderminster; smaller out stations at Hagley, Rubery, Wythall, Stourport and Bewdley, and a number of other small local bases. The unit has a range of local, 24-hour response and specialist teams including crime investigation and public protection responding to the wide and varied community needs, supported by administrative and other support services. The area command is at Kidderminster and is headed by Superintendent Adrian Pass.
In North Worcestershire we remain committed to promoting community safety, improving public confidence and satisfaction in policing services and protecting the public. We place great importance upon listening to the needs and concerns of our communities and seeking a clear understanding of what is important to them.
Over the next year and beyond, our aim is to work smarter, operate using streamlined processes and focus all of our efforts on serving and protecting the public of North Worcestershire in the best and most effective way that we can.
