Police Release CCTV Image
Police in Telford have today issued CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with an incident of criminal damage.
Some time between midnight and 12.30am on Saturday 30 June thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused to the One Stop Shop in Brunel Road in Malinslee after stones or a brick was thrown at the window of the main entrance.
Members of staff were working inside the shop at the time but fortunately nobody was injured.
Police are investigating the matter and are eager to trace the two men pictured.
A Telford Police spokeswoman said: "The two men were picked up on CCTV in the vicinity at the time. We believe they could have vital information that could assist police with their enquiries.
"Members of staff were inside the shop when they heard a loud bang from the window, which faces the main entrance. Staff checked the front window and found three panes of glass smashed. It has cost in the region of £4,000 to replace.
"If this is you, or you recognise either of these two men, we would urge you to come forward."
Information should be passed to Police Constable Mark Johnson on 101.
