Jewellery Stolen In Daytime Burglary At Kidderminster

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a daytime burglary in Kidderminster on Tuesday (9 October).

It happened between 8am and 5pm at a home in Sutton Park Road.

Thieves broke into the house and made an untidy search before stealing a 42-inch flat screen TV, a crystal decanter and six glass tumblers, several bottles of Champagne, a Toshiba laptop and a selection of silver and gold jewellery and watches, some of which has sentimental value.

Detective Constable Lloyd Davies from Kidderminster CID said: "Sutton Park Road is quite a busy road so we are hoping that someone may have seen the burglars in the area, particularly as it happened during daylight hours.

"As they stole a rather large TV the thieves would probably have needed a car or van to take it away in so we would also like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing any vehicles parked in unusual circumstances."

Witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary should contact Det Con Davies on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 503-S-091012, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
