Burglary Suspect Arrested In Shrewsbury

Police investigating a burglary at a house in Shrewsbury, have arrested a suspect.

Officers detained a 33-year-old man at an address in Hawkestone Road, Shrewsbury yesterday on suspicion of breaking into a home in Sundorne Road earlier in the day.

He was taken into custody for questioning before being granted police bail with conditions while inquiries continue.

French doors were forced at the property causing around £500 damage.  It is not yet known if anything was stolen.
