Appeal After Bromsgrove Alley Robbery
Police are appealing for information about a robbery in an alley in Bromsgrove.
It happened between 8pm and 8.20pm on Tuesday 6 December in an alley between Swift Close and Fox Lane.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was approached by two men who punched him to the face and demanded his wallet containing bank cards and £100 cash, and his mobile phone worth £10, which he handed over.
The victim sustained minor facial injuries but did not need medical treatment.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail until 18 February.
Detective Constable Jo Bills of West Mercia Police said: "Police would like to speak to anyone with information, and in particular want to trace a member of the public who spoke to officers carrying out inquiries on Charford estate later that evening. He passed on information about someone he had seen buying alcohol at a shop in Austin Road, and we would like to speak to him again."
One of the offenders is described as white, in his early 20s, 5ft 10ins to 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build, with short dark hair.
