Appeal Following Indecent Exposure – Worcester
Police in Worcester are appealing for information following an indecent exposure which happened yesterday (Thursday, 2 August).
At around 4pm, a woman was walking along Malvern Road in Lower Wick with her young daughter when she noticed a man at the bus stop near the roundabout by the BP garage.
The man had his trousers open and was exposing himself.
The woman and her daughter walked past the man who then followed them into a cut through leading onto Regina Close. As the man walked alongside them, he continuously apologised for what they had seen, but continued to expose himself.
PC Andy Hall is investigating the incident. He said: "The man walked with the pair for some time, from the garage on Malvern Road into the Lower Wick estate, only leaving when a bus drove past.
"Despite apologising for his actions, the man clearly had no consideration that there was a young child present and we urgently need the public's help to identify him.
"He is described as mixed race in his mid to late 20s, around 5ft 6ins tall, with short dark brown hair, dark eyes and broad shoulders. He was wearing blue jeans and a mustard yellow checked shirt.
"He was last seen walking away from Regina Close towards Canada Way. This happened during daylight hours at a busy time of day and I am sure that someone in the local area must have seen this man or knows who he is from the description given."
Anyone with information about this incident can call PC Hall on 0300 333 3000, quoting 460S 020812 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
