Appeal Following Road Traffic Collision In Bromsgrove

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove where a driver failed to stop.

The incident happened between 10am and 11am on Monday, August 23 when an elderly male was driving his silver Rover 45 along the A38 in the direction of Bromsgrove from the M42 island. As he approached the filter lane to turn right into Birmingham Road his car was in collision with another vehicle which did not stop.

Having pulled over to a safe place the Rover driver was approached by a passing motorist who witnessed the collision. He passed on details of the vehicle that didn't stop which is thought to be a burgundy Peugeot 206, but did not leave his own contact details.

PC Hannah Stride said: "We would like to hear from this person that stopped and spoke to the driver as they may be able to help us with our investigation.

"We would also be keen to hear from anyone else who recalls seeing the incident."

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Stride on 0300 333 3000, quoting incident 0405-S-230810.
