Appeal For Information Following Burglary In Bodenham
Police in Herefordshire are appealing for information following a burglary in Bodenham.
The incident occurred at an address on Bowley Lane sometime between 5pm on Friday 3 February and 8.30am on Saturday 4 February.
Sometime during the time period in question it appears that thieves in a vehicle of some sort removed a gate to enter a field near the address and then, having first removed and stolen several metal fence posts, they then made their way to the tack room that adjoins the stables.
The thieves then forced open the doors to the tack room and used a wheelbarrow they found on site to steal a number of horse related items.
The items the thieves stole include several expensive saddles, a number of bridles and a large assortment of riding hats, coats and horse rugs.
The total value of the stolen property is thought to be at least £3000.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information about this break-in and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a suspicious or unusual vehicle in or around Bodenham on Friday night.
Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to call police in Hereford on 0300 333 3000. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
