Appeal For Witnesses After Serious Assault In Hereford
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault on a man outside a Hereford night club.
The incident happened at 3.50am on Saturday 28 August. The police were called to the vicinity of Manhattans night club, St Peters Street, Hereford.
Three local men have already been arrested and are 28, 26 and 20-years-old. Two of the men were arrested on Saturday 28 August and one on Sunday 29 August.
A fourth local man aged 22 was arrested on Monday 30 August in connection with the incident which happened in Offa Street.
Magistrates have granted an extension of detention on the three males already arrested and enquiries are continuing in connection with the incident.
Detective Superintendent Sheila Thornes, of West Mercia Police's Major Investigation Unit said: "Police and the victim's family would like to thank those people who rendered first aid to the victim upon finding him collapsed outside Manhattans Night Club.

Police would like to speak to a taxi driver who is known to have been in St Peter's Square at the time of the incident.
The victim is still in a critical condition but is stable.
