Arrests In Connection With Redditch Railway Station Robberies
Police investigating robberies at Redditch railway station have arrested three youths.
The offences happened at the station, on Unicorn Hill, at around 4.45pm on Tuesday 15 November and 6pm on Wednesday 16 November.
The first involved a man being punched twice in the face and an attempt being made to grab his phone. The offenders failed to get it but during the scuffle stole a £10 note which fell off the victim's lap.
In the second offence a man was punched in the face, and kicked in the head and upper body. He handed over his phone, an Apple iPhone 4, worth £500.
Two juvenile males were arrested on Friday, 18 November, and a third yesterday, Sunday 20 November. All three have been released on police bail to return to Redditch police station later today, Monday 21 November.
