Arrests In Connection With Stourport Robbery

Three people have been arrested in connection with a street robbery in Stourport.

It happened on Walshes estate at around 10pm on Monday, 9 January.

A man was delivering a takeaway meal worth £35 to an address in Old Ford Walk when three people demanded he hand the food over, punched him several times in the face, and hit him on the back.

The victim sustained scratches to his face, swelling and soreness to his cheeks and tenderness to his back but did not require medical treatment.

A man and two youths were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on police bail until 31 January.
