Attackers Sprayed With Red Dye
Police are looking to trace two men who were sprayed with red dye when they attacked a brother and sister in Redditch.
It happened between 7.20pm and 7.40pm on Sunday, 20 November, in Whitehouse Lane.
The two victims, who are in their mid teens, were assaulted by three males who were part of group of seven or eight people.
During the attack the female victim managed to use a defence spray she had with her on two of the offenders. This device sprays red dye at the offender and should stay visible for up to seven days.
The offenders are all thought to be in their late teens. The first is thought to be black or mixed race, about 6ft tall with short dark hair. He was wearing a black or grey top and black trousers.
The second male is white, about 5ft 6ins tall, skinny build and has short hair. He was wearing a black beanie-style hat, a light-coloured top and black tracksuit bottoms.
The other male is also white, about 5ft 3ins tall, described as chubby, with short dark hair. He was wearing a white polo shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.
PC Lee Myatt said: "The two offenders hit by the defence spray will still have red marks on their face.
"We are eager to hear from anyone who saw the assault on Sunday evening and in particular anyone who has seen any young men in the area with red marks on their face."
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact PC Myatt on 0300 333 3000, quoting incident 479-S-201111, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
