Motocross Bikes and Golf Equipment Stolen From Kidderminster Garages

Motocross bikes and golfing equipment were amongst items stolen following break-ins at seven garages across Kidderminster.

The break-ins all happened over the weekend between Saturday, 19 November and Monday, 21 November, and police are currently looking into whether they are linked.

Two motocross bikes, three helmets (worth a total of £480) and a pair of boots (worth £400) were stolen from a garage in Swift Park Grove between just after midnight on Sunday, 20 November and 8am on Monday, 21 November. The bikes are a yellow Suzuki RM125, worth about £2,500, which has a blue number 84 on the front and a green Kawasaki KX125 with a white number board on the front.

Three garages were broken into in Oldnall Road between 7pm on Sunday, 20 November and 8am Monday, 21 November. Tools and equipment were stolen including a Vax carpet cleaner worth £120, a Hetti vacuum cleaner worth £90, a combi vac worth £80, a Karcher pressure washer worth £190, a router table worth £300, a Makita power drill worth £70, a battery operated drill worth £90 and a set of golf clubs and an electric trolley worth £750.

Offenders broke into a garage in Tennyson Way between 5.30pm and 6.35pm on Monday, 21 November. Golfing equipment was stolen including Taylor Made Burner clubs worth £379, a King Cobra driver worth £80, a tour bag worth £200, a Power Caddy electric golf trolley worth £350, a set of Dunlop golf clubs and bag worth £100, and some balls and accessories worth about £70.

A garage in Peel Street was broken into between 7pm on Saturday, 19 November and 7pm on Monday, 21 November. Two mountain bikes were stolen; a ladies white Hybrid Decathlon bike worth about £150 and a men's bike in dark blue and black.

In Balmoral Court offenders broke in between 6.30pm and 8pm on Monday, 21 November, and stole a lawn mower worth £300 and a strimmer worth £250.

PC Emma Gunnell said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in these areas over the weekend, or has been offered items for sale similar to those stolen.

"House to house enquiries are currently being carried out in the affected areas and crime prevention advice has been offered to those affected by the break-ins.

"Residents are reminded to make sure they lock their garage at all times and to consider a forensic marking product for any valuable items stored inside."
