Body Of Man Found Near Leominster Identified
Police in Herefordshire have confirmed that the body of a man found near Leominster has been identified. The body was found close to Newton Lane at just before 2.45pm yesterday afternoon (17 October). The dead man has now been identified as Mr Fred Morrell, who had been reported missing on Tuesday 16 October having left home his home in Leominster at 4.45pm that afternoon. The coroner has been informed of Mr Morrell's death and an inquest will be opened in the near future. West Mercia Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this sad death and will not be making any further comment on it.
