Boy Seriously Injured In Redditch Collision

A 15-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after being in collision with two vehicles in Redditch.

It happened on Washford Drive, opposite the BP garage, just after 2pm yesterday, Thursday 17 November.

The boy was in collision with a blue Ford Ka and a silver Peugeot Partner.

He was taken to the town's Alexandra Hospital with injuries including broken ribs, internal injuries, grazes and bruising, and is in a stable condition.

The road was closed until just before 6pm.

Investigations into the collision are continuing but police have spoken to a number of witnesses.
