Bridgnorth Murder Investigation – Victim Named
Police continue to question three people arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Bridgnorth last week.
The dead man was named today (Tuesday, 19 June) as Richard Sherratt, aged 57.
Officers were called to his home address in Old School Mews, off the High Street on Thursday, 14 June. On arrival, Mr Sherratt's body was found inside the property. Post mortem results show he died from head injuries.
A man in his 50s from Tipton, Sandwell, a man in his 30s from Perry Barr, Birmingham and a woman in her 20s from Aston, Birmingham were arrested on Saturday, 16 June in connection with Mr Sherratt's death. All three remain in police custody while detectives continue their inquiries.
