Cyclist In South Shropshire Died From Natural Causes

A cyclist found dead on a south Shropshire road earlier this week, died from natural causes.

The 51-year-old man was found shortly after 9.30pm on Tuesday beside the B4367 on the approach to Bucknell, close to the Shropshire/Herefordshire/Powys border.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today a post mortem held yesterday had shown the cause of death to be natural causes. 

The police investigation has now closed.
