Did You See Anything Suspicious Ask Police After Robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an elderly couple were robbed at their home in Hollywood, near Birmingham yesterday (Monday 23 August).

The incident happened in Truemans Heath Lane at about 10pm.

A man forced his way in and threatened the victims before taking a laptop, two mobile phones, a purse and some cash.

The offender is in his early 20s, slim and between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall. He was dressed in black, wore a black and white scarf across his face and a black woolly hat.

The couple were treated for shock but did not need to attend hospital.

Detective Inspector Jon Marsden said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area on Monday evening and saw a man matching the description or thinks they know who the offender is."
