Did You Witness Disorder In Ketley Bank On Sunday?

Police officers in Telford are appealing for witnesses following disorder in Ketley Bank that left a 25-year-old woman with minor puncture wounds to her right leg. The incident occurred outside an address on Fifth Avenue on Sunday 7 March.

Sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm it appears an altercation took place that involved a number of people, many of whom appeared to know each other. It seems the altercation was sparked by an argument that took place earlier in the day in the Hare and Hounds public house in Ketley.

As a result of this argument it seems that a number of people attended the address on Fifth Avenue and it was then that the argument turned into physical altercation. It remains unclear exactly how the 25-year-old woman suffered her injuries but it appears that she was stabbed by an implement of some sort during the disorder and her injuries, although fairly minor, did requirement medical attention.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this disorder, or who may have any knowledge of why the original argument started.

Anyone who believes they may have information about this incident is asked to contact police in Telford on 0300 333 3000.

Alternatively, please remember that Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 0800 555111 if you have information you'd like to pass on without identifying yourself.
