Driver Airlifted To Hospital After Collision In Kidderminster
Witnesses are sought following an incident in which a car left the road at Iverley, near Kidderminster, and hit a tree stump.
The woman driving the car, who is from the Halesowen area, was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, with serious arm injuries after the incident at 5.50pm on Friday (July 23). She remains in hospital and was today (Monday 26 July) said to be in a stable and comfortable condition.
The white Renault Clio she was driving left the road in Sugar Loaf Lane and overturned after hitting the stump.
PC Diane Stevens, who is investigating, said: "I would like to hear from any witnesses, in particular the driver of a dark green coloured car which passed the Clio on the lane by Ashfield House, or anyone else who either saw or can help us trace that vehicle."
