Fatality On M54 – UPDATE: Motorway Re-Opened
At just after 3pm today (Friday, 4 May) we received a call stating that a woman had fallen from a bridge onto the M54 near Junction 3 (Tong).
Emergency services attended the scene but unfortunately the woman was pronounced dead a short time later.
At the present time, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Part of the M54 was closed for around two and a half hours following this incident but the motorway was then re-opened again in both directions at just before 6pm.
