Five Arrested After Evesham Restaurant Burglary

Five men from the Gloucestershire area remain in custody at Worcester Police Station in connection with a burglary at Frankie & Bennys restaurant in Charity Crescent, Four Pools Retail Park, Evesham between approximately 2am and 6am on 30 August.

West Merica Police said that they were arrested by Gloucestershire officers shortly after a substantial amount of cash was taken from the premises.

The men were later transferred to the Castle Street divisional headquarters where their detention is expected to be extended later today.

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw, or heard, anything suspicious at or near the premises between the given times or earlier.
