Grandmother's Jewellery Stolen During Burglary In Kidderminster
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after jewellery which belonged to the victim's late grandmother was stolen from a home in Kidderminster.
It happened between 10am and 7pm on Friday, 5 October, at a home off Wilden Lane near Hoobrook.
Thieves broke into the house and made an untidy search before stealing a Cameo on a gold neck chain, a gold engagement ring with five diamonds and a gold charm and chain.
Detective Constable Lloyd Davies from Kidderminster CID said: "This jewellery obviously has sentimental value to the victim and we hope that someone may know who took it or may have seen it for sale.
"We would like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing any suspiciously activity in the Hoobrook area on Friday, particularly any vehicles parked in unusual circumstances.
"If anyone is offered items of jewellery for sale similar to those stolen and they are unsure of their origin we would ask them to call us as soon as possible."
Witnesses or anyone with information about the burglary should contact Det Con Davies on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident 649-S-051012, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
