Heirlooms Stolen In Kidderminster Burglaries

Family heirlooms were among items of jewellery stolen from three burglaries in Kidderminster on Friday (16 December).

Between 9.30am and 10.30pm offenders broke into a home in Comberton Avenue and stole various items of gold jewellery, many of which have sentimental value.

Offenders also broke into two properties in Rosemary Road; the first one between 2.30pm and 5pm, and the other between 8.45am and 5.50pm.

At one of the properties offenders stole an 18 carat gold necklace with three diamonds worth £1,000, a diamond cut gold ring worth £500, a gold ring with a brown stone worth £50, four plain gold rings worth £200, a gold bracelet with charms worth £1,500, a Swarovski necklace and pendant worth £500, a Record watch worth £500, a ruby pendant worth £100 and pearl earrings worth £100.

A number of phones were taken from the other home, including a Samsung A650 Flip phone, a silver Nokia 3120, Motorola v276 flip phone and an Alcatel OT-208. They also stole a pair of silver square cufflinks worth £80 and an AOC computer monitor worth £150.

DS Marc Sanders said: "Understandably the home owners are upset about being burgled, particularly as many have sentimental value.

"We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity near to Comberton Avenue or Rosemary Road at the times stated and would urge anyone with information to call us as soon as possible."

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact DS Sanders on 0300 333 3000, quoting incident 643-S-161211, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
