Kidderminster Fire Treated As Arson
Police are appealing for information about a fire in Kidderminster, which is being treated as arson.
It happened at a property in Chester Road North between around 11pm and 11.45pm yesterday, Wednesday 21 December.
The property was entered either through the front or rear door, which were both insecure, and entry was then gained to an insecure flat. It is believed the fire was started on a bed.
Other residents of the property were alerted by an alarm and attempted to extinguish the blaze themselves before the fire service arrived. No one was injured.
PC Tom Court of West Mercia Police said: "I am interested in locating any potential witnesses who may have seen people in the area at the time of the fire, or anybody who may know about how it was started."
