Laptops Stolen In Redditch Burglary
Two laptops were among property worth over £1,000 stolen during a burglary in Redditch this morning (Tuesday, 7 February).
The owner of a home in Offenham Close was woken up by a noise downstairs just after midnight.
As she went downstairs to investigate she discovered the front door was open and she could hear male voices outside. She looked out of the front window and saw two men walking across her front garden, one of whom was carrying her laptop.
Items taken include a Dell laptop worth about £400, an Advent laptop worth about £400 (with two keys missing from the keyboard), an 8GB iPod worth about £180 and a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone worth about £300.
One of the offenders is about 6ft tall, of stocky build and was wearing a dark grey hooded top with the hood up and dark-coloured jeans.
Detective Constable Bob Cockburn said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around Offenham Close in the early hours of this morning or thinks they may know who the offenders are.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered a laptop, iPod or phone for sale similar to the ones stolen."
