Large TV Stolen From Telford Home

Police are investigating after thieves walked into a Telford home and stole a large television from the living room.

Thieves walked into the property at an address in Dunsheath in Holliswood through an unlocked door some time between 1.30am and 2am yesterday.(Thursday 8 December)

Offenders searched the living room and stole a 40 inch flat screen Technika television, a bottle of vodka and a Prada multi brown handbag, which contained a purse and £130 cash.

Police are investigating the incident and are eager for anyone with information to come forward.

A Telford Police spokeswoman said: "Family members were asleep upstairs when the incident occurred. It appears that one individual living at the house had popped out and left a door closed but unlocked. Subsequently opportunist thieves walked into the property and stole a number of items, including a large television.

"We are eager to trace those responsible and would appeal to anyone with information to come forward.

"We especially want to hear from anyone who may have seen thieves in the area carrying the television out of the address."
