Man Appears In Court Charged With Worcester Murder
A man has appeared in court today charged with the murder of Andrew Heath in Worcester last year.
Mr Heath, aged 52, was found dead at his home in Chedworth Close, Warndon, after a suspected arson attack at around 4am on Wednesday 14 December.
Daniel Anthony Martin, aged 23 of Canterbury Road, Ronkswood, Worcester, was charged last night and appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court where he was remanded into custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court tomorrow (5 October).
Also appearing in court in relation to Mr Heath's death were three other people charged yesterday with perverting the course of justice. They were:
- Teresa Martin, aged 44 of Rodborough Close, Worcester;
- Sarah Louise Martin, aged 26 of Rodborough Drive, Worcester;
- Matthew James Davies, aged 28 also of Rodborough Drive, Worcester.
They were also remanded into custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court tomorrow.
Another man and woman arrested yesterday morning (3 Oct) in relation to Mr Heath's death were released on police bail last night while inquiries continue.
