Man Arrested After Cannabis Found In Bromsgrove

Police have arrested a man in connection with the seizure of cannabis bush with an estimated street value of £7,000 found at a house in Bromsgrove.  

Equipment believed to be connected with illegal drugs was also seized when officers executed a warrant obtained under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Talbot Road last Thursday evening (22 December).

A man was later arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug, cannabis, with intent to supply. After questioning he was released on police bail until 7 February, 2012, pending further inquiries.

Sergeant Martin Grant said: "The supply and use of drugs should not be tolerated by the community and we will robustly pursue those involved. If you know of any drug dealers operating in North Worcestershire, or anyone else connected with illegal drugs, then call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
