Man Arrested Following Assault In Redditch

Police have arrested a man following an assault in Redditch which left a man with facial injuries.

It happened at about 1.30am on Friday, 25 May, at the top of Bates Hill.

Two men, in their 30s, had just left Fever nightclub when they were approached by two men who assaulted one of them.

The victim sustained cuts to his face and was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on police bail until Tuesday, 26 June, pending further enquiries.

PC Richard Britton said: "We are eager to hear from anyone who was in Bates Hill in the early hours of Friday morning and saw the assault."
