Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Redditch Lead Theft

A man has been arrested on suspicion of stealing lead in Redditch.

The man was arrested after officers were called to the Woodrow Centre at around 11pm yesterday, Monday 15 October.

Reports were received that lead was being stripped from the roof of the William Hill bookmakers and the Spicy Grill takeaway.

A large quantity of lead flashing was stolen.

A man was arrested on suspicion of theft and remains in custody at Redditch Police Station, assisting with inquiries.
