Man Caught Burgling Kidderminster Church

Police called to a Kidderminster church early today (Friday, 15 June) caught a man who had broken in and was trying to steal an overhead projector.

Clint Hubble was arrested at Trinity Methodist Church in Churchfields after officers responded to a report that noises could be heard coming from inside the building shortly after 2am. He had already removed several screws from the projector mounting when he was caught red-handed.

Hubble, aged 36 (date of birth 7/5/76), of Pershore Court, Park Street, Kidderminster, was brought before town magistrates this afternoon (Friday) when he admitted burgling the church and attempting to steal the projector.

He was given a nine-month community order with a supervision and drug rehabilitation requirement, given a curfew order requiring him to remain indoors between 7pm and 7am until 14 September this year (2012), and told to pay £100 compensation.
