Man Charged With Burglary at Whitchurch Co-op

A 28-year-old man has been charged with burglary of the Co-op Stores in Whitchurch and stealing £59,000.

The man, who comes from Liverpool, has been bailed to appear before Shrewsbury magistrates court on January 12.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: "I can confirm that a man has been charged with entering the Co-op Stores on September 14 as a trespasser and stealing £59,000 in cash."
