Man Charged With Lead Theft And Burglary At Kidderminster
A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court accused of stealing lead from a house in Kidderminster and burgling the same property.
Steven Charles Jones, aged 29 (date of birth 15/3/1983), of Cobham Road, Kidderminster, appeared before town magistrates on Tuesday, May 1, charged with stealing lead from a house in Bewdley Hill as well as burgling it and stealing property including toys and copper piping. The offences are alleged to have taken place on Monday afternoon (April 30).
Jones was arrested after police received a report from a member of the public about suspicious activity at the property.
Jones was remanded in custody to appear before the same court on May 8.
