Man Charged With Vehicle Interference In Kidderminster

A man was arrested after a Kidderminster resident saw what appeared to be torchlight inside her car.

The woman alerted neighbours after spotting a light in her Land Rover Discovery in York Street at around 7pm yesterday.

The neighbours detained a man at the scene until police arrived.

Damage of £100 was caused to the vehicle.

A man was subsequently arrested and has been charged with vehicle interference. He is due to appear before Kidderminster magistrates on 1 December.
