Man Charged With Wellington Burglaries
A man is due in court this afternoon (7 August) charged with four burglaries in Wellington.
The charges relate to a report of a house - which has been divided into a number of flats - being targeted over the weekend. Keys to four of the flats were stolen from a communal area within the building and then used to gain entry to the flats.
Items including televisions, golf clubs, war medals and an X-Box were then taken from the properties.
A 32 year old local man was arrested in connection with the incident on 5 August following a pursuit on foot by officers. He was charged last night with four counts of burglaries and two further counts of theft and criminal damage. The man is due to appear before magistrates in Telford later on today.
