Man Due In Court Charged Over Malvern Firearms Incident

A man is due in court today (10 August) charged with three offences relating to a firearms incident in Malvern which happened on Friday, 3 August.

The 18 year old man from Ledbury is charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, assault and criminal damage.

The charges relate to an assault on a woman at an address in Gloucester Road last week by a man who was reportedly seen holding a handgun. Damage was also caused to the woman's car.

A man was arrested on the evening of Wednesday, 8 August on Wells Road in connection with the incident. He is due before Worcester Magistrates Court later on today.
