Man Knocked Unconscious In Redditch Robbery
Police are appealing for information about robbery in Redditch in which a man was knocked unconscious.
It occurred on Studley Road opposite Studley Road Social Club just after midnight on Sunday 20 November.
Four youths or young men approached the victim and his friend, who were making their way home from Redditch town centre in the general direction of Woodrow.
The victim, a 21-year-old man, was using his phone when it was knocked from his hand by the offenders. He was knocked to the floor and kicked to the head and his wallet and phone taken. The wallet contained about £70 cash.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution but was not seriously injured.
All of the offenders were white, and aged 16 to 18, and of slim build.
One was about 5ft 9ins tall, with short dirty blond hair and a round face.
The second was 6ft 1ins tall, with short spiky black hair, a long face, and wearing a tracksuit.
The third was 5ft 10ins to 5ft 11ins tall, with short spiky ginger hair, and a freckly complexion.
There is no specific description of the fourth offender.
Detective Constable Andy Baxter of West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information. We believe that one of the victims may have spoken to some people leaving Studley Road Social Club and I would like to speak to them in particular."
