Man Remanded In Custody On Redditch Burglary Charge

A man accused of attacking a householder and stealing cash from him during a burglary in Redditch was remanded in custody when he appeared before town magistrates.

Stephen Burford, aged 34 (date of birth 23/8/1978)), of Salters Lane, Redditch, appeared in court on Friday (21 September) charged with burglary, involving theft with violence. The charge arose from an incident at Oakly Road, Batchley, last Tuesday (18 September).  

Burford was remanded in custody to appear before Worcester Crown Court on 17 December.
