Money And Property Stolen From Couple In Redditch
Police are appealing for information after a couple had money and property stolen from them in Redditch.
The victims, a woman and a man in their 20s, met up in the town centre last Friday afternoon, 20th January. While they were in Market Place at about 2.30pm a black iPod Classic worth £100, a gold engagement ring worth £300, and a black Vivitar camera worth £60 were stolen from the woman's pink handbag.
And between 1.30pm and 3pm, the man had £300 stolen from him. He used a cash machine at the Halifax in Evesham Walk, and after he entered his PIN number, two men, who he did not know, withdraw £280 from his account. The victim put his wallet back in his coat but a short time later he discovered it missing. He retraced his steps and found it in a bush, with £20 missing along with his driving licence.
Both of the victims, who are considered vulnerable, were extremely upset by the thefts.
