Police in Redditch are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in which a motorcyclist suffered severe injuries to his arms and legs.

The collision took place at around 8.40pm on Wednesday, 23 May on Studley Road, at the junction with Hoveton Close.

A blue Fiat 500 was heading towards the town centre when it was involved in a collision with a red Kawasaki motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.

PC William Keys is investigating the circumstances of the collision. He said: "The rider of the motorcycle - a man in his 20s from the Redditch area - was taken to hospital with serious leg and arm injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in touch as soon as possible."
