Mountain Bikes Stolen In Vehicle Raid Near Oswestry
Two mountain bikes worth £2,000 were stolen from a vehicle on the car park at the Lion Quays Hotel, Weston Rhyn, near Oswestry.
A white Renault Kangoo was broken into by smashing the driver's side window. The thieves then grabbed two Giant make mountain bikes from inside, together with a holdall bag containing clothing and personal items.
The breakin happened at around 7pm on Tuesday (Nov 22) when the alarm was activated as the window was smashed. The vehicle was parked in the corner of the hotel's car park.
