Non-Stop Collision In Alvechurch
Police are appealing for information after a non-stop road traffic collision involving an articulated lorry and a car.
It happened at around 6.30am today, Wednesday 4th January, on the A441 Redditch Road, Alvechurch.
An articulated lorry, which was pulling out of a junction, was in collision with a grey Ford Ka travelling on the A441 from Birmingham towards Redditch.
The collision happened by Lea End Lane and the Westmead Hotel.
The lorry collided with the side of the Ka, causing it to spin around in the road and end up on the opposite side of the road.
There was a considerable amount of damage to the side and front of the vehicle.
The lorry, which is likely to have visible damage, carried on towards the West Midlands.
The Ka driver complained of chest pains and a knee injury. She did not require medical treatment at the scene, but later went to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for a precautionary check up.
