Pensioner Seriously Injured In Stourport Road Collision
Witnesses are sought by police following a road collision in Stourport in which a pensioner was seriously injured.
It happened in Vale Road shortly before 10.30am on Saturday, July 24, when a pedestrian, a woman in her 70s from Stourport, was involved in a collision with a Mercedes car being driven towards Kidderminster by a local man in his 80s.
The woman was taken by ambulance to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital with multiple injuries and she remains there in a critical but stable condition. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was unhurt.
Appealing for witnesses PC Jamie Holloway of the Force Operational Support Team said: "The woman involved in this has serious injuries and we need to build up an accurate picture of what happened. This is a busy road and I would urge anyone who was there and saw anything at all of this incident to contact us. The smallest of details could be important to our investigation so please get in touch."
