Police Appeal Following Burglary In Moreton-On-Lugg

Police officers in Hereford are appealing for information following a burglary that occurred just before Christmas.

The incident - which was only reported to police at the end of last week - occurred at a farm in Moreton-on-Lugg where a number of barns are being converted into residential properties.

Sometime between 4pm on Wednesday 21 December and 9am on Thursday 22 December it appears that thieves broke into one of the unfinished barn conversions by forcing open the front door.

Once inside they then stole two, brand new boxed Worcester Bosch boiler units, including flues, and made off with them.

The total value of the stolen items is thought to be more than £3500.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about this burglary or where the stolen items can now be found, especially anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicles in and around Moreton-on-Lugg in the build up to Christmas.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact investigating officers on 0300 333 3000. Alternatively, please remember that Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously 0800 555 111.
